Here at Advanced Aquatics, we understand the most important thing for new swimmers on their journey to becoming good swimmers is by building up confidence in the water. The key to gaining this confidence lies in leading your body to become used to and relaxed in the unique world of water, which we will teach you through our specially developed trademark POWERSWIM method.
What do Lessons Involve?
Throughout the POWERSWIM syllabus our highly experienced and specially trained instructors utilize an experiential and multi-sensory learning approach that not only teaches you the correct techniques, but helps you understand why certain methods work better than others through guided self-discovery and exploration. Employed throughout every step of the way from floating, learning how to move through the water, to streamlining your strokes; our intuitive, logical and systematic teaching methods will have you swimming in no time.
We break down the act of swimming into a number of simple, easy to learn steps which anyone can master. Combine this with our fun and positive approach to teaching and you’ll be amazed at how quickly you progress!

Teaching with a Difference
“NO size fits ALL” . At Advanced Aquatics, we believe that no one teaching style or method fits everyone. Thus you can be sure that all our staff employ a personal teaching style designed to cater to the specific needs of our students, addressing the personal strengths and weaknesses of every individual, and teaching as quickly or as slowly as YOU, the student, is comfortable with.
Our friendly team of instructors make every lesson a positive learning experience, so whether you are a mature student looking to polish up your strokes for leisure swimming or a young student looking to take up swimming as a sport, we work with you as you set your own goals and support you at your own pace.
Which Class is for Me?
We cater to all ages, from babies to toddlers to adults and have a series of different Class Option sizes from which to select.
If you are taking any of the group classes you may also be assured that we will help you find, or alternatively start up the right group for you so that you can learn alongside students with a similar standard, age and goal-set so everyone will progress at similar pace.
